A native of Reevesville, South Carolina, Dr. Reeves has been with Blue Ridge Orthopaedics since 2000. He graduated summa cum laude from Clemson University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology. He then earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Reeves completed his residency in Family Practice at the Anderson Area Medical Center and also served as Chief Resident. He then went on to complete a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Eastern Oklahoma Orthopaedic Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dr. Reeves is the Head Team Physician for Clemson University and provides coverage for all 17 varsity sports. He also provides coverage for Liberty High School . He has been appointed as a clinical instructor for the Anderson Area Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program through the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Reeves is also the assistant director of the AnMed Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship program.
Dr. Reeves is board certified by the American Board of Family Practice and has a certificate of added qualification in Primary Care Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Practice and the South Carolina Medical Association.
